Privacy Policy

GP Counselling complies with EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018 which came into law on 25 May 2018.

 

You have the right to see what information I hold about you, and to request I amend or delete it.  This includes contact details, any correspondence I may have exchanged, including your therapy case notes.

 

During therapy, I may share anonymised information about your case with my professional supervisor, as outlined in your counselling contract.  I may also have to share information to protect you or others who may be at risk, or in the case of criminal activity, also outlined in your counselling contract.

 

Your privacy is important to me; therefore, I will only ever use your email and telephone number to contact you in relation to accessing this service.  All electronic devices are password protected and paper files secured under lock and key when not in use.
